The International Charitable Foundation “Open the World to Children”

The International Charitable Foundation “Open the World to Children” was established in February 2006 in St. Petersburg, Russia, by four organizations and one company:

1. The Union of Manufacturers and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg,
2. The Russian – American Council on Economic Development,
3. The Charitable Foundation “Renaissance”,
4. The St. Petersburg branch of the “Russian Society of Disabled”,
5. The JSC “Rosstroiinvest”

      The Foundation has its own charter, Board of Directors, President and Board of Trustees

The main aim of the Foundation is defined as follows: to promote the education, development and adaptation of disabled children and orphans in the contemporary world by means of special computer programs as well as supplying these children with computers.

The Board of Directors is comprised of:

1. Ivanov, Viktor – Chairman,
2. Stepanyuk, Nikolai – Director,
3. Fionin, Leonid – Director,
4. Obuhov, Herman – Director,
5. Kreslavskaya, Nina – Director

 

Herman Obuhov was elected President of the Foundation.
